Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to your lagoon-side resort in Negombo (20–30 minutes). Depart after breakfast for Habarana (4–5 hours) stopping en route at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in Rambukkana to observe elephants bathing in the river.
